"My legs were so swollen I couldn't get my regular pull-up compression socks on. My doctor suggested using ones with a zipper, so I bought these. They are perfect, I can easily get my foot in and start pulling the zipper up my leg. The aching in my feet reduced on the first day, and after wearing the socks for a few days the swelling reduced too. Bottom line they do a great job and I can get them on easily!" - Lynda C. (Fair Oaks, California - USA)

"My doctor recommended that I get some compression socks to increase circulation in my lower extremities and support my feet while walking. I’m glad I found these socks for a number of reasons:

(1) Purchasing three pairs is a great deal;

(2) the zipper up the side is a great idea because you don’t have to struggle to pull the socks over the calf;

(3) the open toe style keeps the toes free to move and not be squished inside tight compression socks;

(4) the lightweight knit is more comfortable than heavy spandex:

(5) they’re easy to wash and wear.

The elastic bands at the top are strong but not too tight. For L/XL, they seem a bit on the small side, so I’m going to wash them on delicate and line dry them. They are great for my nightly walks in the brisk fall air because they keep my legs warm. Love them! If you’re 60+ like me, they’re a must-have!” - Carol F.  ( Leesburg, FL )

Zippered Socks

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How can compression socks help me?

Blood from your legs must overcome gravity to return to the heart and lungs, where it is re-oxygenated and travels to the brain, vital organs and the rest of the body. Blood circulation to the legs is often affected when people stand or sit for long periods of time and as people age.

This is a common problem in our modern world when desk jobs and long standing jobs are a part of everyday life. Problems that could arise from poor circulation may include, aching, swelling, stiffness and weakness in the legs and feet. These symptoms can develop into varicose veins or Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT).

 Compression socks boosts your circulation and helps support your veins. Increased blood flow in your veins means more oxygen and nutrients flowing to your legs.

Do I have to have a medical condition to receive benefits from Joocla graduated  compression socks?

Anyone can benefit from wearing our products. Most people don't achieve optimal circulation in their legs which can cause leg fatigue, swelling and varicose and spider veins. Joocla Graduated Compression Socks can help with all of these issues. Our compression socks are specifically designed for everyday wear and can benefit anyone.

How often should I wear my compression socks? Can I wear them to bed?

You can wear them every day! Make sure to wash the socks after each wear in order to maintain the shape and compression level for each wear. You can machine wash them but air drying is preferred.

 Wearing compression socks to bed is entirely up to you based on your comfort level. It is safe to sleep in the socks, but if you find it uncomfortable or experience any kind of pain, you should cease sleeping in compression socks immediately.

What are graduated compression socks?

Graduated compression socks help promote circulation in your legs. Graduated compression socks apply a certain amount of pressure near your ankle and then apply gradually less and less pressure as they move up the leg. Our graduated compression socks are 20-30 mmHg and applies the perfect amount of pressure on your calf and foot.

I already have a pair of socks that are tight, doesn’t that provide the same benefits as compression socks?

Just because a sock is tight does not mean it’s a compression sock that offers the same health benefits. In fact, some tight socks can actually inhibit the flow of blood. Our compression socks are designed with a gradient pressure technology featuring our medical grade compression graduated technology. The ultra gradual compression starts at the ankle and goes up the leg, ensuring maximum comfort and effectiveness. We developed our socks with the assistance of vascular surgeons and vein clinics, and also test our product to ensure it offers an accurate compression level.

How to wash compression socks?

1. Soak your socks in a small tub, sink or basin filled with cool water then remove. Add a mild detergent or soap to the water and mix water with your hand to circulate the soap. Place the socks back in the water and let them sit for 5 to 10 minutes.

2. After soaking, gently rub the stockings to remove dirt and oil. Squeeze them out and rinse to remove any soap. Be sure to squeeze them gently and do not pull the stockings. Pulling can result in an imperfect fit when trying to wear them again.

3. Rinse the socks until the water squeezes out clear from any soap or detergent. Gently squeeze out as much water as you can, then lay the stockings flat to dry in a cool or warm place. Hang dry. Do not place near heat. Do not wring them out, as it may damage the way the compression stocking is woven.

4. For machine wash, place in linen or mesh laundry bag for extra protection.

Additional Tips:

Do not use fabric softener or a detergent with a softener, as this will damage the fibers after continuous usage.

Avoid drying directly in the sun or on the radiator.

Wash your garments after each wearing - The more you wash them the better - Washing brings back the elasticity to the garment, and remove built up oils and dirt.

Do not wear a pair for more than 3 Months - This is the max - many replace after 2 months. Just because they look good does not mean that they still have the proper compression.
